Esther Ramm is a photographer on the NSW South Coast. Based in Jervis Bay, Esther’s photography encapsulates the land and sea; and the little things that bring joy to all ages.
Having a camera in my hand from a very young age I’ve always enjoyed being creative. I would save up my pocket money from ironing shirts for 20 cents each to purchase disposable film cameras. Capturing holiday memories at Currarong and waiting in anticipation for the films to be developed.
In 2017 I began shooting Jervis Bay beaches and exploring Booderee National Park. Fast forward to 2020 and friends and family encouraged me to sell my work. I started with greeting cards and have created over 15 designs to date and expanded to postcards, gift tags and other practical stationery.
Residing now in peaceful Erowal Bay I feel incredibly blessed to capture our local region. I have previously exhibited in Huskisson and currently have a small exhibit in the Australian Capital Territory. I love being creative with shells, sea urchins and other treasures along the beach. Many of our stunning white sand beaches feature in my portfolio too.
I look forward to welcoming you to my home studio along the art trail.
